IN 1997 CANADA'S LARGEST LAW FIRM, MCCARTHY TETRAULT, PROVIDED A LEGAL OPINION THAT CONFIRMED THAT BRITISH COLUMBIA BROKE THE CANADA US FREE TRADE AGREEMENT AND THE NAFTA  


Many of the facts in this letter of opinion have now been proved in the Supreme Court of British Columbia in the case of Rain Coast Water Corp v. Her Majesty the Queen in Right of the Province of British Columbia and others 2016 BCSC 845.

The Sun Belt case was blocked in Canada 's court by the crimes of fraud, fraudulent concealment of evidence, perjury, and obstruction of justice in 1999 carried out by crooked Canadian lawyers employed by the Government of British Columbia and assisted by crooked Canadian judges.

Sun Belt filed for relief under Chapter 11 of the North American Free Trade Agreement in 1999 and has not pursued the case due to lack of funds after its resources were drained and its lawyer was put in jail, maliciously prosecuted, and  financially destroyed by the British Columbia government.
