Mr. Justice Robert Edwards - Suspected Murder Victim
and
A Crooked Judge
Robert Edwards was, allegedly, a brilliant lawyer. He joined the British Columbia Ministry of the Attorney General and rose quickly through the ranks to become Deputy Attorney General.
Robert "Bob" Edwards regularly represented the Government of British Columbia in complex legal cases.
He was the senior civil servant in charge of the Ministry of the Attorney General when that important Government Ministry carried out its role in the WaterWarCrimes by drafting the secret, illegal, contract between W.C.W. Western Canada Water Enterprises Ltd. and the Government of British Columbia signed September 25, 1989, and by drafting and approving the Order In Council No 331 on March 15, 1991, that destroyed the business opportunities of the competitors to W.C.W. Western Canada Water Enterprises Ltd. and gave it the virtual monopoly on bulk water exports from British Columbia to the United States.
In his role as Deputy Attorney General for British Columbia, Robert Edwards, would have had a close working relationship with Canada's Deputy Minister of Justice John Tait and British Columbia's crooked Chief Justice Allan McEachern, so it is not surprising that when Michael Harcourt's newly elected NDP Government started sniffing around the WaterWarCrimes, Robert Edwards was promptly given a safe hideout as a justice of the Supreme Court of British Columbia, a position that requires the approval of the
Deputy Minister of Justice, the Minister of Justice and the Chief Justice of British Columbia. In short, Bob Edwards had done some favours for some people so he was in a position to collect some favours.
On the bench Bob Edwards proved himself to be a crooked judge in many cases.
But, Justice Bob Edwards made a big mistake when he decided to take on the role of hearing judge in a case involving Mr. Carten and used his powers to do his best to destroy Mr. Carten because, October 26, 2007, Mr. Carten filed and served on important government offices a carefully crafted set of court papers that clearly identified Robert Edwards as one of the key players in the WaterWarCrimes, and on November 5, 2007 Robert Edwards was dead, allegedly, from a sudden heart attack.
We think Robert Edwards may have been murdered. He probably started to panic as a result of hearing about his name was so clearly identified in the court papers, placed a few panicky telephone calls and the insiders decided to take him out because he was perceived to be a risk.
The other alternative is equally disturbing and suggests some secretive group had been watching Robert Edwards very closely and decided it was appropriate that he be executed on the "symbolic day" of November 5 .
Students of English History will recognize that November 5, is Guy Fawkes Day the day the English celebrate the capture and execution of Guy Fawkes the man who attempted to blow up the English Parliament Buildings in 1605. Symbolically, Robert Edwards was a modern day Guy Fawkes who participated in a plot to thwart the will of both the Parliament in Ottawa, Canada';s capital, and the provincial legislature in Victoria, British Columbia.

In 1993 Bob accepted an appointment as a Justice of the Supreme Court of British Columbia, an appointment he held at the time of his death.
