On May 7, 2009, the Chief Judge of the Provincial Court of British Columbia, Hugh Stansfield, dropped dead, suddenly, and, mysteriously, allegedly, from cancer. Judge Stansfield is dead judge number nine and is among at least fourteen insiders connected to this who suddenly died after their crimes were exposed.

Judge Stansfield's death came a few days after documents were exchanged over the internet that alleged Judge Stansfield was involved in the sexual abuse of children as young as six. This information was being gathered and put into a legal format in the last two weeks of April, 2009, with the intent of filing it in a court in support of a petition to remove Judge Stansfield from office - if the proper authorities were not prepared to act on the information.
The source of the information was the private investigator who assisted to expose Provincial Court Judge Ramsey as a child molester in 1999. Judge Ramsey was convicted and sentenced to seven years in prison where he died shortly prior to his release.
Naturally, there was a concern what impact the information would have when released and, for this reason, the information was not circulated, except privately over the internet. There was documentary evidence bearing the signature of Judge Stansfield that supported some of the allegations.
In private e-mail communication, fear was expressed that if this information was true and it was put in the appropriate hands then Stansfield's career would be destroyed and, further, "it might kill him". Two weeks later he was dead.
It is probable that agents of the Government of Canada and British Columbia were monitoring that e-mail exchange and they decided to go to the judge who, when confronted with the detailed and documented information admitted it was true and decided to end his own life rather than face the consequences. It would have been difficult for the judge to deny his own signature.
If the information was true, it is also possible Judge Stansfield was murdered by those who put him on the bench and who had been using him over the past decades.
Co-incidentally, at the same time, Jim Judd, head of CSIS and Kevin Lynch, Clerk of the Privy Council, Canada's most senior civil servant, announced they would be resigning.
The mystery is the public explanation that Judge Stansfield died from cancer. Death by cancer was a convenient alibi because, five years earlier, Judge Stansfield had been treated for cancer but, death by cancer defied common sense, because Judge Stansfield's cancer appeared to have been successfully treated and he was seen to be in robust good health at a public hearing on April 25, 2009, yet 12 days later he was dead from a disease that kills slowly over months or years.
Eyewitnesses to the hearing on April 25, 2009, stated Chief Judge Stansfeidl did not have the appearance of a man in the last days of cancer but appeared to be in robust good health.
Did Judge Stansfield really die of cancer? Was he murdered? Did he commit suicide?
If you don't understand the pedophile allegations then let's make it very plain. If you want to control a judge, police officer or a bureaucrat, you can bribe him or her, but that is expensive. It is cheaper and more effective to control him or her through sexual blackmail and a pedophile or someone who delights in child porn is very easy to blackmail. Judge Stansfield and his legal assistant had been a key player in the malicious prosecution and attempted railroading of former Sun Belt Water lawyer by insiders with the Government of British Columbia.
That prosecution commenced January 30, 2008, nine days after the Statement of Claim in Action T-95-08 was filed in the Federal Court.
This was a mean-minded, dirty prosecution based on fraudulent statements given to the police by Chief Judge Stansfield's legal assistant, the lawyer Brenda Edwards complaints were filled with Premier Gordon Campbell and BC Attorney General, Wally Oppal, that Chief Judge Stansfield was refusing to carry out an investigation of Provincal Court Judge Brian Klaver and BC Law Society CEO, Tim McGee, who h BC ad been secretly communicating with each other in some mysterious way to set aside subpoenas that had been issued to compel Mr. McGee to appear in court as a witness in a case where the BC Government was trying to put the accused in jail and the Law Society was a party to the offence in question. Judge Brian Klaver was the trial judge.
Chief Judge Stansfield was a dirty judge appointed to his position by Premier Gordon Campbell.
Prior to his appointment to the bench Judge Stansfield was also a significant player in the medical insurance fraud we have referred to elsewhere on this site as the Dr. Kuntz Affair. The Kuntz Affair deserves its own web site was and was a disgraceful criminal conspiracy by some of Canada's top, blue ribbon, law firms against a brilliant young doctor who, literally, was able to make the lame walk again by doing some pioneering work in the field of disc replacement surgery. The technique has now been adopted by European doctors who acknowledge Dr. Kuntz's leadership in the field.

Hugh Stansfield graduated from the University of British Columbia Law School in 1979. He was called to the bar in 1980 and practised civil, family and criminal litigation.
He was an associate and partner with the blue ribbon Vancouver law firm of Lawson Lundell.
Hugh Stansfield was the son of Dr. Hugh Stansfield who played an active role, along with Lawson Lundell, in the destruction of the career of Dr. David Kuntz, the brilliant Canadian orthopaedic surgeon who pioneered disk replacement surgery enabling the crippled and lame to walk again. Dr. Kuntz was destroyed by a combination of greed and envy.
Due to his pioneering work, that is now widely adopted, Dr. Kuntz soon found himself carrying out 50% of the back surgery in British Columbia from his medical practice in the remote northern British Colombian community of Kitimat. He was taking work from many prominent Vancouver area specialists who were unfamiliar with his techniques who saw their incomes diminishing and found a way to destroy their upstart competition through a fraudulent class action lawsuit.
The case against Dr. Kuntz soon morphed into a legal / medical fraud that saw some of Vancouver's top law firms bilking provincial taxpayers millions of dollars through artificially high medical insurance premiums (legal fees in disguise) that the provincial government, under the leadership of Premier Gordon Campbell, promised to cover. The masters of the medical profession could not blow the whistle on the masters of the legal profession because they were compromised due to their willingness to employ a criminal strategy against Dr. Kuntz.
Based on the fraudulent class action lawsuit and the threatened high medical insurance premiums, Premier Gordon Campbell bought the support of the medical profession and the lawsuit was quickly dropped, after the dirty deal was done, proving that it was a fraud to begin with. Subsequently, these same prominent law firms, the masters of the legal profession, became major donators to Premier Campbell's political party and through their controlling influence at the Law Society of British Columbia they have destroyed the careers of lawyers who expose corruption that could taint Premier Campbell or his colleagues.
The Dr. Kuntz story is an indictment of legal and judicial community and involves judicial manipulation at the highest levesl including the Canadian Judicial Council and Canada's Chief Justice, Beverly McLachlin.

Under oath, the psychiatrist admitted she did not interview a single witness, read any affidavits or review the other evidence in the court files. The College of Physicians and Surgeons for British Columbia backed its psychiatrist and defended her role on the basis that she was acting under instructions from the Law Society of British Columbia.
