Was Israel "Izzy" Asper Murdered?
The Canadian Museum of Human Rights was the brainchild of Canadian lawyer, businessman and media mogul, Israel "Izzy" Asper. Serious observers have speculated that Izzy Asper may have been a player or investor in W.C. W. Western Canada Water Enterprises Ltd. for a number of reasons.
1. Mr. Asper was a very astute and well connected western Canadian businessman from Winnipeg.
2. A significant number of W.C.W. Western Canada Water Enterprises Ltd. shareholders who benefited from insider knowledge of the secret illegal agreement between WCW and the Government of British Columbia were also from Winnipeg.
3. Lloyd Axworthy and Paul Fraser, prominent political/legal personalities linked to W.C. W. Western Canada Water Enterprises Ltd. and the Water War Crimes are from Winnipeg.
4. Margaret Annett, represented by lawyer Paul Fraser, the President of W.C. W. Western Canada Water Enterprises Ltd., was from Winnipeg.
5. In 2001, an Indo Canadian gentleman with connections to Izzy Asper approached Mr. Carten in Vancouver attempting to obtain a copy of the McCarthy Tetrault legal opinion that was then not published. The request for a copy of the legal opinion was denied.
6. Mr. Asper's former law partner Gerald Schwarz is married to Heather Reisman niece of Simon Reisman who negotiated the Free Trade Agreement on behalf of Canada with the United States. Simon Reisman gave public speeches stating water must be on the table if the Americans were to be expected to enter a Free Trade Agreement with Canada.
7. Mr. Asper was a close friend of former Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chretienwho is alleged to have been an investor in W.C. W. Western Canada Water Enterprises Ltd. and Mr. Asper died of a sudden heart attack on October 7, 2003 a few days after a private meeting with Prime Minister Chretien.
8. When Gordon Campbell was first elected Premier of British Columbia one of the first visitors to his office was Izzy Asper. If Campbell was aware that Mr. Izzy Asper had been invested in W.C. W. Western Canada Water Enterprises Ltd. then there existed the perfect opportunity for a deal whereby Asper controlled media agreed to go easy on Campbell, which they have done for over ten years.
9. Mr. Asper controlled newspapers and other media outlets have deliberately lied to the Canadian public about the political corruption and offshore accounts related to W.C.W. Western Canada Water Enterprises Ltd.
10. Mr. Asper was also a close friend of former Canadian Prime Minister, Paul Matin, who played a prominent role ion the Water War Crimes.
11. Twenty seven people who are linked to the Water War Crimes, including eleven judges, have died since 2006, either by sudden heart attack or the sudden onset of a terminal disease. This is not a random co-incidence. Mr. Asper died by a sudden unexpected heart attack,
Was Izzy Asper murdered?
Izzy Asper had an astonishing number of connections to the players in the Water War Crimes and, if he was an inside investor in W.C.W. Western Canada Water Enterprises Ltd., (a fact that is not yet determined), then, other insiders would have had a motive to murder him and this would be especially so if other insiders thought he was considering exposing the whole story in his newspapers and other media outlets that he owned - which he might have done had he not died so suddenly.
We request that anyone with information that confirms that Mr. Asper was an investor in W.C.W. Western Canada Water Enterprises Ltd. to contact us and share that information.

Who Was Simon Reisman?
Simon Reisman was born in Montreal Quebec. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and political science in 1941 and a Master of Arts degree in 1942 from McGill University. He fought for Canada in the Second World War. After the war, he studied at the London School of Economics a leading educational institution for political insiders in Canada.
In 1946, Reisman joined Canada's Federal Government as a public servant and was a member of Canada's delegation to the inaugural session of the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade in the late 1940's. He made major contributions toward the drafting of the Canada-U.S. Auto Pact. Reisman rose to senior positions in the public service, including deputy minister in the Department of Finance and the Department of Industry before retiring in 1975. Following the election of Brian Mulroney, Reisman sent the new prime minister a memo advocating free trade negotiations with the United States.
Mulroney accepted Reisman's plan and, in 1985, asked him to lead Canada's trade negotiations with the United States.
On several occasions, Simon Reisman gave speeches in Canada sating that the United States would not enter the Free Trade Agreement unless water was a part of the deal although some Canadian political insiders have stated water was not part of the Free Trade Agreement. The distortions about water in Canada arose because insiders were agitating and lobbying the government to give them the monopoly over bulk water exports. Reisman died in his sleep in Ottawa in 2008 at age 88.
