We believe that Joanne Platt, a lawyer employed by Themis Program Management and Consulting Ltd,. a subsidiary of Maximus Inc., and an agent of the Government of British Columbia is a criminal and we are attempting to obtain further information to assist us to bring her to justice so she can be punished for her alleged crimes
On August 22, 2008, Joanne Platt quietly slipped slipped into a courtroom in Victoria, British Columbia, where Mr. Carten was on trial for the charge of criminal harassment because he had encouraged another lawyer, Brenda Edwards, the legal assistant of the alleged pedophile Chief Judge Stansfield, to co-operate with a police investigation then being carried out into investigation of corruption inside the Ministry of the Attorney General for British Columbia.

The lawyer, Joanne Platt, had no legitimate business in that courtroom on that day and she took a seat along the back wall in the the public seating area facing the judge where she thought she would not be observed by the other persons in the courtroom.
However, witnesses observed Joanne Platt her engage in som form of non verbal communication with the presiding judge, Mr. Justice Peter Leask who clearly refused to co-operate.
According to an eye witness, A.B., (real name withheld) of Victoria, British Columbia:
“This woman looked very upset that whatever was being communicated was not in her favour. There were gestures like her head shaking, so slightly to the left and right to express ‘negative’, but weirder was her facial contortions of dismay, or desperation…eyebrows puckering and eyes squinting.
I didn’t really know which emotion because of the intensity and because I was trying to watch the judge’s responses and actions. What I did sense was the judge did not want to communicate with her and wanted no part of what it was she was desperately attempting to accomplish out of the non verbal communication. Mr. Justice Leask made it clear in his response back to her that he wasn’t going to comply through the motion of his head shaking. I didn't understand what was being communicated and I tried to make sense of it. To actually witness this type of action in a courtroom shocked me”

The Affidavit of A.B. was corroborated by a second affidavit another person but that affidavit is not reproduced here.
The only logical conclusion is that Ms. Joanne Platt, was engaged in a crime of attempting to obstruct of justice, a crime that carries a penalty of 14 years imprisonment.
On December 8, 2009, in Nanaimo British Columbia, Provincial Court Judge Justine Saunders temporarily protected Joanne Platt by refusing to admit into the court record the affidavit of A.B., there denying Mr. Carten the right to make argument on the issue of obstruction of justice by Joanne Platt and by denying Mr. Carten the right to call witnesses in his defence. We believe Judge Justine Saunders was acting on instructions from insiders with the Government of British Columbia.
The reader should understand that Themis is the company that operates the Family Maintenance Enforcement Program in BC, has been one of the key players in the Canadian and British Columbia government attack on Mr. Carten and Ms. Gibbs.
The two affidavits were sent to both the Victoria City Police and the RCMP with a request that they investigate what was, most probably, the criminal offence of an attempted obstruction of justice.
The Victoria City Police who had initiated the criminal charge against Mr. Carten after they were, in our opinion, lied to by a by Brenda Edwards, the legal assistant to the Chief Judge Stansfield, refused to investigate this serious crime. Mr. Carten was eventually acquitted because the presiding judge at the trial found Brenda Edwards to not be a credible witness when her evidence was clearly contradicted by government lawyer Craig Jones.
The police officer in Victoria assigned to handle the complaint about Joanne Platt was Tom Sawyer. If anyone has information that Tom Sawyer is a Freemason please send that information to us.
We also asked Gary Bass, RCMP Deputy Commissioner (Pacific Region), to investigate this probable crime by Joanne Platt who never acknowledged our correspondence so we recently filed a complaint about Deputy Commissioner Gary Bass with the Commissioner for Public Complaints about the RCMP.

According to child sex abuse investigator, Rob Nicholson, Joanne Platt, attempted to put him in jail for approximately seven years when he was penniless and could not pay child support.
